Strange file fails Stock Sansa Clip+ and RB, but plays on PC

(1/1)

zheksoon:
Well, the strange things happen - some of just encoded with foobar2000 tracks deadly hang ClipPlus's stock firmware, and just are skipped by RB 3.13. How is that: tags are being displayed on WPS, but half-second silence and it turns to the next track. While this you can press Pause and watch to the file props - everything in its tags is displayed ok. Opposite, the stock firmware deadly hangs, only the  very long press to the power button helps. But on PC this (these, more preciesly) file is played by any software without any problems even directly from device's memory - file corruption is excluded.
What wrong with this?

File is here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0jzt308vy8drrfe/01.%2021.%20Februar.ogg
Encoder is OggEnc v2.87 LancerMod (SSE3) x64 based on aoTuV b6.03
Source is ALAC
Foobar2000 is 1.2.8

Sorry for my deadly english.

I'am sorry, solution was found: http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php/topic,42948.0.html
Never attach the pictures to the Vorbis, never!  >:(

saratoga:
Probably the large embedded album art.  Thats a really bad idea with Vorbis.  The official embedded decoder (which sandisk uses) will often just crash if given large artwork.  We also use it, but modified it to not crash and instead just skip files that cannot be decoded with the available memory.
