Hello everyone,...
I'm new here and i hope i make everything correct.
I upgrade the battery in my Sandisk Sansa Clip+ from 290mAh to 1Ah (with this camera battery:
https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B000F1TD2A/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1).
Now the battery life is about four times higher than before

.
Now the problem is, that the charging current is about 170mAh so theoretic the Sansa needs about 7hours do charge.
But after some time it stop charging, i think there is a timeout and so i have to unplug the Sansa and plug it again to continue charging.
Now my idea is to increase the charing current.
I found in the datasheet
https://shop.austriamicrosystems.com/eng/content/download/16763/295720/file/AS3525_Datasheet_v1_13.pdf/1814 on page 154
that there is a Charger Register and i can increase the current to 400mAh with the CHG_I flags.
Now my question is: Is that possible or are there same hardware components that doesn't support such a high current?
And how can i set this flags in the Charger Register, are there some configfiles or must i config the sourcecode and when where?
Thank you for your help!
Richard
ps: sorry for my bad english
pps: by the way,..such a long battery life is really amazing,..
