Installing on the Fuze+ (was: post in New Ports)
(1/1)
zukaka:
I just bought Sansa Fuze Plus and am not impressed with its original firmware. One problem I notice is that it swaps left and right channels on some songs while other ones plays correctly. So far I have not seen anybody complaining about the same issue. I also do not like equalizer.
Because of this I decided to install Rockbox but without success. I tried so many times. First I ran Rockbox Utility and it installed successfully, in the end I restarted the player but it loaded the original firmware. Then I checked and there was no any rockbox folder on it. After that I manually placed .rockbox folder with all files in it. Still did not work.
I have no idea what else I can do. Any help?

Usually this means you either selected the wrong device in your operating system, or the wrong device model. Double check that you selected the Fuze+ in the installer as well as your device's mount point (in Windows this will be a drive letter other than C:\).

If it still fails post the output of the Help / Troubleshoot / System Trace dialog after trying to install. This allows people to understand what went wrong.
