Sansa Clip+ Successful Install But RockBox Doesn't Show Up

I own a Sansa Clip+. I successfully installed using the Utility. Unfortunately, no Rockbox displayed. I then successfully installed manually in 2 ways. The first time I used the instructions listed online: http://download.rockbox.org/daily/manual/rockbox-sansaclip/rockbox-buildch2.html. I then downloaded a pdf of the manual and tried going about it that way. I think the two instructions are identical with the exception of one file name perhaps, but it comes out to the same thing in the end (patched.bin just has different names). After the manual installs, Rockbox still won't show up!

I would love some advice on how to get Rockbox to show up on the Sansa Clip+. Troubleshooting is very brief and doesn't cover what to do if installation is successful but doesn't end up in Rockbox being displayed. I don't get a "File Not Found" message. Thanks in advance!

Usually if the automatic fails its because you picked the wrong drive.  Go back and try again.

You're right. I chose the wrong drive. For anyone who may encounter the same confusion, I selected autodetect initially and the device was found. However, you should really make sure to select the appropriate drive during configuration: "Select your drive in the file system". I changed it from C to F (corresponding USB port where the device is plugged in is my guess). Then I ran the install using the utility. Thanks.

The manual install directions you linked above are actually for a different player than you have, so they will not work as is.
