Lost display after selecting theme on Clip Zip
« on: September 29, 2013, 11:56:17 AM »
I was checking out all of the themes and after selecting on of them, the display went blank. If i hold the power button down, ill see "powering off" and then it shuts down.
After restarting, i get no display.
Is there a way to change the selected theme by editing a file somewhere in the root directory?

Indeed there is.

/.rockbox/config.cfg

Theme related config entries should be obvious to you.

Thanks Saint i see 4 entries with the selected theme. Do i just replace ti83 with whichever theme i want in there?
fms: /.rockbox/wps/ti83.fms
font: /.rockbox/fonts/08-ti83.fnt
wps: /.rockbox/wps/ti83.wps
sbs: /.rockbox/wps/ti83.sbs

Edit: I did just that and all is well thanks again.

You can do that, yes.

Alternatively you could just delete the entries, and a fallback will be loaded on the next boot allowing you to select a theme through the Rockbox theme settings menu.
