Will rockboxed players show up as drives if connected to android devices on usb?

Im not looking to run rockbox on android, or even run the installer on android- just wondering if my devices (sansa 200  and 5.5gen ipod) would appear as a drive (like they do in windows) if connected to an android tablet with a usb port?
Thanks! IE

saratoga:
Assuming your tablet can act as a USB host device, it should work.  You won't be able to run rockbox utility on Android though as it has never been ported to that OS.

I cant think of any reason, why the device would not show up as a drive. I never tried Android, but on Linux I can see my rockboxed players as a drive.

By the way there is Rockbox as an Application (RaaA) for Android. See here: http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/AndroidPort and for .apk files see here: http://rasher.dk/rockbox/android/

Thats what I was thinking/hoping. (that if it can host it should work) I just havent got my hands on a tablet that can host yet to find out... just trying to see if anyone has actually done it...

I've tried this on an Asus TF700 (the Transformer Infinity) and the Gigabeat F40 appeared as a drive as expected.

So the answer is: yes, RB devices do show up as standard storage :)
