iPod 4g HD upgrade from 1.8 ziff to flash memory

Got this idea while wandering about on e-bay and I found this (note: I know absolutely nothing at all of this person or product):

Am wondering if others have swapped out the Ziff with flash memory and Rockboxed it. Just found these useful links.

If this is possible, as I now suspect it is, I'd be thrilled. As far as I am concerned, the weakness of the 4g is that darm Ziff drive.
