No Voice Menu and talk support for AJR V1 anymore?

Hi!

I managed to build my Big Disk support for my Archos Recorder V1. Finally!

But, support for .talk files and Menu voice is not working.
I have all ma talk files and they work and I also created my own Voice.
The voice file seems to be to large - 1.4 MB, but all the settings I tried to change in the make file to get it small are not working out - on the contrary its getting bigger even I reduce to 8 Hz sampling.
How can that be?
Can anyone tell me how I best change this line in the make file to get the voice file smaller ?

Of course I also tired other regular official builds and it looks like .talk files are not working with the AJR v1 anymore since version 3.0.1.
But even I use this source for my build it is still not working.

Same with the voice file. I tried an older official build and I got it working, but only together with the custom build for Big Disk provided here:

But due to the missing Database in this build the voice file is missing an entry and always say the wrong thing. 

Please help on that.

At least point me in the right direction. I already got that far. 

I still would like to use RockBox 3.10 at least so I can have the non-Disk function as I use a SSD.

Looks like my questions refer to something hardly anybody is using anymore.
That probably just shows my own age ...

Well, fortunately as usual I know how to help myself after putting much effort and try and error. 

If it is for any help to others, the answer to my question was here:

With this I was able to change the compression and quality rate of my voice file to get it small enough so it is now working with my 2MB Archos JukeBox Recorder.

The Talk files support seemed to work only till RB version 3.9, which is fine to me as it provides all the features I need.
