iPod Mini 2G - Files do not display
scythianarrows:
Player: iPod Mini 2nd Gen
Rockbox version: 3.13
HD: Transcend brand 32GB CF card
After copying files to my \Music directory on the iPod and then ejecting it from my computer, I can see the folders for artist & album showing up, but the audio files themselves do not appear. System info shows that something is taking up space on the card (~13GB free space out of ~30GB) and when I plug in the iPod via USB, I can open the \Music directory and see the folders for artist + album with all the audio files inside.
How do I make Rockbox recognize those files? I have already reset the iPod (hold Play/Pause and Menu until Apple logo appears) but cannot actually see any audio files on the GUI.
saratoga:
You probably have the view file type setting set to something like "playlists only". Check the manual for the location of that setting then change it to "all" or "all music".
scythianarrows:
Thank you!
I set it to "all" and everything showed up - any reason why just setting it to "music" wouldn't show them?
saratoga:
AFAIK music should show any format rockbox knows how to play. Is that not the case?
scythianarrows:
The files - mix of MP3 & FLAC - do not show unless All is selected. None of the files play, either.
