ITT: Great EQ settings
« on: August 30, 2013, 12:52:18 AM »
Hi there been using rockbox for years on my iAudo X5 until I discovered the iPod classic generation runs it. Sold the i audio, then I bought a custom 240 gb ipod 5.5 gen where I store my collection. I've always listened to my music with no EQ until I was curious tonight and I did some googling .. I wanted to share these settings because I think they're really great and I am hearing parts of songs I haven't before. Most of my library is v0 < 320 < flac, at least my favorite albums are flac. So I am open to trying out new settings but yeah I really wanted to share these. Tell me what you think, and I'd love to try out some of your custom configs. I listen to mostly punk / rock / electro / house / pop.  I'm not asking for wikipedia information, I am asking for those who have gifted ears to bless us with your knowledge in the area of sound dynamics to share your info. With that said, I am constantly amazed at the abilities of the rockbox software and I am sure Apple is Very well aware of how much more technical the software is the only question is why haven't they given the user the chance to do this on their own hardware? I guess they really assume the average user is that inept

My primary headphones are Audio Technica sovereign clip ons.

 I recommend them highly.
