iPod Video 5th Gen problem
« on: August 29, 2013, 06:15:46 AM »
So I recently bought a 240GB Toshiba MK2431GAH for this iPod Video that I bought on ebay with a broken hard drive. I got the hard drive and put it in the iPod. Plugged it in and worked fine. I then installed Rockbox to it and now I can't use it at all. When I first installed it it worked. I then reset my iPod, and now its telling me to Connect to your computer to Restore iPod. The problem with that is that my computer freezes up when the iPod is plugged in, and iTunes freezes until I unplug the iPod. Sometimes it does connect after my computer freezes for about an hour, but it wouldn't format it. I've tried everything I can think of doing to get this iPod to work again. Any suggestions?
