Sansa Clip+ audio playback mp3 problems

Are there actually problems with the mp3 audio codec, especially with sansa clip+ .
When i play a mp3 file i got every 7 minutes for a duration of 1 minute audio problems like loud peak and distortions.
The problems are only with mp3 files, ogg and other are working fine.
