iRiver H120 Record at 96k?

My iRiver h120 only allows me to record at 44k/16bit max (wav). But on my iRiver h10 it lets me record 96k/16bit.

I also saw someone on Ebay selling an iRiver h120 and claiming that has rockbox and records at 96k. I was wondering whether this is possible and if so then what I am missing? I just updated rockbox to the latest version and even tried the dev build version but I can only see option for 44k.

here is the ebay listing and the seller says

That link doesn't say anything about recording.  The listing is probably referring to decoding of 96k files.  Although the H1x0 resamples those to 44.1k on playback.
