H320 internal speaker
« on: August 24, 2013, 12:51:09 PM »
Hey there, all!

I've basically been scouring the internet for a few weeks now to find a speaker that would be small and slim enough to be fitted into the rear of my h320.

I was just wondering if this would actually be possible to do with the player... not only if its safe for an internal speaker to be inside (due to magnets) but also if rockbox could be programmed to have the option of having sound routed through it while having on, off and volume capabilities.

Just an idea for a project really... I have an spare h320 that I want to pimp up.

Looking forward to  hearing any ideas!

I doubt the DAC exposes a pin for a speaker driver, if it even has one so you'll probably need to get a 16 ohm speaker and use the headphone jack.
