Unable to re-install Rockbox on Sansa e200
« on: August 20, 2013, 09:22:35 AM »
Aright so I swapped memory from a unit with hardware problems to one that had dead memory and it worked; great. Rockbox worked. I then decide to follow the unbricking instructions when to reformat it; .mi4, .fmt and later .rom: however every time I use Rockbox utility it is unable to install the bootloader, it crashes doing this on multiple PC's and OS's. I boots fine/works fine in default yet I cannot install Rockbox, any help?

How exactly does this "crash" look like? Does it detect the player via autodetection? What OS are you running Rockbox Utility on?
