Fuze new power problem
saratoga:
There was one a while ago from a bug I introduced trying to optimize power usage. As far as I know that's been fixed for a year or two.

This happened again today. Mid song, I pressed pause and walked away for 10 minutes. The fuze was shut off when I got back and is now dead. The battery was full and recently charged. I've been getting normal battery life as well, so I know it isn't a battery issue in terms of runtime.
I can't get it to turn on no matter what I do. If I plug earphones into the headphone jack I don't hear any noises at all. Not even a hint of an amplifier preset. So it would almost appear to be off.
I haven't modified my fuze or used any special themes or anything at all. Just listening to music and paused the player. Now I either have to wait a week or two, because my battery was full or I need to disassemble my fuze, which I'm not having luck easily getting apart and I don't want to damage it. I'm also at the latest rockbox version as of a few weeks ago, so it shouldn't be a problem from out of date software...
Any ideas?

Try to plug in USB cable and connect it to computer. It might force Fuze to do something.
[Saint]:
If that doesn't work, align the device along a North/South axis, magnetic North, not true North (this is very important), and leave it out overnight on the first full moon of your birth month.
Let out precisely three drops of blood, while chanting "Fuze, awaken, Fuze, awaken!".
This, also, might do something.

I meant it in the way, that in my experience, there is difference, if chaged from USB charger or from computer. At least in case of Fuze+.
It has happened to me that it seemed to be dead and refused to chargé from my USB charger, but when plugged to computer it re-vived again and started to chargé. I do not know, why is that, but my guess is that when plugged to computer something what prevents deeply discharged Fuze+ to chargé from USB charger is skipped or the condition does not occure in this case...
