I'm not saying that it isn't, but I'm just putting my experience out there in case it makes someone more aware of the issue. :) There isn't much info that I can find about this being worked on. I'm not sure if there is any bug tracker on this specific problem?

I don't think its being worked on and for relatively obscure problems like this I would not expect anyone to take an interest anytime soon unless they happen to encounter the exact same problem you have and are sufficiently annoyed by it.

There are no priorities. People work solely on what they want to.

That seems strange. This is a problem that renders the device useless. It isn't anything I've done to the player, it happens under normal use. Internet search shows many others with the same issue only with rockbox (not sansa firmware). So it is a rockbox bug that bricks the player until the battery dies. Are you saying there is no one that is looking into this and/or thinks it should be fixed? :-P Is this because it's open source? Are people just working on it when they have a desire to? I thought rockbox was some sort of project with developers and a team or something? Is it just whoever wants to help whenever? Just curious.

You're the first person I've heard mention it, and in 6 months since you did no one else has.

That is exactly right.

To be fair, the problem he describes is a temp-bricking issue I've seen talked about on these forums in the past, and which has happened to me (just once luckily - had to wait 4 days for the battery to drain)...
