H10 and new SSD
« on: August 12, 2013, 11:42:59 AM »
Hello,

I just installed a 64gb ssd in my H10. It came with zif-40 interface and even 2 ribbon cables. Everything seems fine but Linux nor Windows sees the drive but they see the H10 fine. (USB connection works, OS doesn't see the drive)

I assume if the H10 had an issue, there would be a relevant error message but the only thing I see is the "System Files Missing" message. The ssd is unformatted so I don't know where to go from here.

UPDATE: Problem was the ribbon cable wasn't secure.

Now, I get the following when installing Rockbox:
Quote
Downloading bootloader
Download finished.
Installing Rockbox bootloader
Copying modified firmware file failed
(log attached)

Suggestions?
