Ipod classic 160 gb

Hello all

I have a classic ipod, 160 gb, 7th generation, version 2.0.5 Pc
Is it possible to install Rockbox on this Ipod?

Yes, it is.

Currently installation is only possible using the freemyipod project's emCORE.

Sorry to burst into a thread but seems to be a good place to put my query ;)

Trying to do this myself, if I put the pod into DFU mode I dont see a drive to connect to?
Windows makes a connection noise as it should, control manager shows a USB device connected,
With the free my ipod driver but can’t see/access the drive to drop the files on to, am I missing something silly?

Disk drive == UMS/MSC mode, so I don't think you'll see anything if you're in DFU mode.
