iPod nano 2 volume change causes music to stop
(1/1)
Veeshush:
Well, first I have to say, Rockbox runs incredible on my Nano 2. So many years I had considered getting a new Mp3 player just to get something like FLAC playback or the like and Rockbox basically does everything I could ask (never would have dreamed I could do video on it even). Its really given my ipod a second wind.
My ipod:

The only issue is sometimes when I change the volume during playback the music stops playing altogether and I can't get anything to play unless I shut down the ipod. It's not an entire system freeze, I can still access menus and the like.
After writing that, I did a search in "bugs" and found this:
http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/12814?string=volume&project=1&type[0]=2&sev[0]=&pri[0]=&due[0]=&reported[0]=&cat[0]=&status[0]=open&percent[0]=&opened=&dev=&closed=&duedatefrom=&duedateto=&changedfrom=&changedto=&openedfrom=&openedto=&closedfrom=&closedto=
If it is the same bug (I'm assuming it is) then I'd like to just confirm it for anyone trying to troubleshoot, maybe save them some headache.
I'm using the development version at the moment, Revision f285a0f (I just put the ipod into disk mode using PLAY + Select to copy music to get around the USB connection issues)
But, I still had the volume change issues with the Stable Release 3.10 as well.
Thanks
