remap power button - sandisk clipp

Hi there!
The power button of my sandisk clipp plus got broken a couple of weeks after I bought it
So I thought to myself their might be a way to remap this button...
I'm not a programmer, but i'm not afraid from long notepads that i need to change some letters in it :-)
can I do it?

The keymap is there, however thats just rockbox.  If the power button is broken, you won't be able to turn on the player in order to boot rockbox except by plugging into USB power.
