Sorry, but on my sansa clip v2 running rockbox 3.13, the current playlist is saved in the parent directory of the track I listen to. I need to put /Playlists in front of the playlist name to have it saved in the catalog.

You're right. When writing the name of the playlist, you can also modify the path to save it in /Playlists or in /<microSD1>/Playlists.
It might be easier to save the playlist in the default path (the parent directory of the selected track) and then cut the m3u8 file and past it wherever you want, using the Files browser.

I don't know how to cut the m3u8 file & paste it wherever you want, using the Files Browser

I have another question is there to make a playlist that has all your music on the player & the micro SD card all together
Nephiel:
To move (cut & paste) a file, navigate to it from Main menu -> Files, hold the center button and select Cut. Then navigate to the folder you want to move it to, hold center and select Paste.
To make a playlist of all the music on both drives, you could first create one with all the music on the card, then add to it all the music on the player.

well it said it made one for the card but I never seen it & I took the files of the micro SD card & added to the playlist I had made for the files on the player & I keep getting a root error what would cause that

If you don't mind managing your playlists on your PC, I'd suggest Foobar2000 as an all around good solution.
I have the Portable version of Foobar2000 installed on my Rockbox player in its own directory so I can run it from any computer. Foobar will catalogue all the music on your Sansa. You can build playlists by drag-and-drop and save them wherever you like on the Sansa.
I find building playlists from scratch annoying on the Clip series due to the tiny screen. Editing playlists is a little easier.
