Sansa Clip v2 not enough memory installation failed --> dead

Sanjix:
Hello everyone,

I just wanted to install the Rockbox Software on my Sansa Clip V2 but I forgot to delete some Songs to make some free memory space.
The Auto-Installer stopped..
First, when I turned it on, I saw the Rockbox sign, then the Display shows, I should connect it with an USB Cable - so I have done it.
But then the Sansa turned off and now I can't turn it on anymore.

Can you help me please?

Greetings

You installed the bootloader but not the main build.

Reboot into the sandisk firmware and finish the installation.

By the way, rebooting a player midway through flashing a firmware is in general a really terrible idea.  Fortunately the Clips are hard to brick while flashing.

I had my clip act up, all I did was hold down the power button for 20 seconds and it came back on:

Sanjix:
Hi,

thanks for your Post.

Fortunately I could turn on the Sansa today morning and I repeat the installation, now it is flashed successfully.
Impressive, how good this Software with its many features is!
