Battery Circuit - Gigabeat/Ipod 4g battery
« on: July 04, 2013, 01:02:56 PM »
Is it possible to change the battery circuit from one batter to the next ..... i think My issue with the gigabeat battery lies there. I'm thinking of moving the circuit from the toshiba battery to the ipod battery ...... it will require some surgery ... but hey

anybody got any thoughts

If you mean the circuit normally integrated withing battery - that makes not sense. This is very unlikely that this circuit differs much between toshiba and ipod battery.  This circuit basically protects Li cell from very deep discharge, heavy overcharge and overheat. This is to protect the USER as  it is unlikely the cell will catch fire even heavy abused.
