Sansa fuze v2 Fm radio disappear

(1/1)

rba:
I’m having some problems  with a Sansa fuze v2
First of all, the the radio Fm doesn't show in the menu. I tried to turn it on as  a start screen  but it only shows a moment and then it disappears. One day that I  had   the mp3 in my hand almost an hour it did appeared  an I could  pre-set the stations, but the day after it disappear again. So I don’t know if it could be some kind  of problem when  it's warm or cold.

Second:  Know when I try to turn it on with a micro sd , it just freezes when is turning on, or sometimes can turn on but it freezes when initialize the database. (the micro sd works fine in a Sansa fuze plus and in a Sansa clip plus, also it happens with others  micro sd  so I guess is not  the micro sd card)

I had tried un installing and installing different  Rockbox versions, even un installing and installing with the bootloader but nothing seems to work and in the original firmware  just works  fine ( reading the micro sd).

Thank's  for the help you can give me.

Concerning the “micro sd freezing” , the only version where does not happen  it's the 3,8

Finally I found a solution.
The radio being not recognize is a hardware problem It is the headphone jack  that is not making enough contact. If  we make  pressure towards down or up  to  the headphone jack while turning on the MP3,  now it will recognize it.

To fix it we have to open the Sansa and put a piece of paper/cardboard in that part so it can make pressure.

The micro sd problem was solved by formatting the card with “allocating size 64”

I hope this  will help  other persons in the same situation.

God bless Rockbox …. God bless the forums.
