More than 10 bands EQ in Rockbox

Is it possible that in the near future any new version would contain more than 10 bands of EQ? Alternatively, is there any simple way of increasing the number of bands in the current 3.13 version? Maybe someone could write a patch?

We won't include that in the main build since its pointless but you can of course edit the code to include as many bands as you like.

Take a look at the 10 band eq patch on gerrit.

You are aware that this is a *parametric* EQ, right? That means that in just about any realistic case five bands is all you'll ever need if you use it properly
