Does Rockbox not integrate the SD card with the ClipZip internal memory?

I am disappointed that, unlike the original firmware for the ClipZip, Rockbox cannot integrate the sd card music files with the internal memory music files. Is there a way around this? Could this be a development for the future?  :(

I'm not sure what you mean.  Rockbox shows the SD card as a mount point in the main storage if you're in file browser mode, and shows it merged with everything else if you're in the database.

What exactly were you expecting?

That's great. I hadn't attempted creating a database yet, just using the Browser.
Do you know if I can get the 'Fonts' menu as an option onto the Quick screen? If I follow the manual when I long press the select key the fonts default to the original firmware setting.
Also, having got my themes sorted, I wanted to save them. I got as far as  the cfg file screen but don't know how to save this file.. Pressed every button to no avail.

I now appreciate that the database will store all my music titles from my several MicroSD cards. Will the database, however, identify which tracks are associated with the individual SDcard that is in use at any particular time? If not, then just having a database of all possible tracks from several SD cards does not inform me of which tracks are playable at any particular time, using one particular SDcard.
