Cheapest and/or easiest way to get flash storage on my iPod Video 5.5 80GB?

Hi everyone,

I searched this forum and just about everywhere else for a while but couldn't find an answer to what the cheapest (and preferably also easiest) method was of getting boatloads of storage onto my larger version iPod.

I was thinking of going with the CF adapter, but according to the CF specifications, the maximum capacity seems to be 137GB. So that certainly limits the upgrade path.

For example, this ZIF to SD adapter would be perfect if it would accept multiple SDXC cards at once in a RAID0 fashion.

Theoretically I could also buy a 256GB 1.8" SSD, but it's quite expensive and there seems to be some problems with this approach.

So if you know anything better please do share :)

The Super Talent DuraDrive ZT2 256GB 1,8" SSD is known to work perfectly with rockbox.

It's definitely a cool thing, but it costs around $380 :/
