Sansa Fuze+ Won't Turn On, Fireware Loading Timed Out Immediately

(1/1)

TheAustinator:
It was working perfectly fine until one day the battery ran out and the next thing I know, NOTHING WORKS, great. Now it doesn't turn on, I've charged it for a couple hours. I plug it into my computer, everything is fine, I can get into it and the bootloader says "Booterloader: USB mode" perfectly fine. But i plug it into the wall to charge, a quick message goes through to screen and it turns off, just to flash the same message again 2 seconds later, the only thing I got from the message out of all the crap was, "Firmware Loading Timed Out." I just had this thing replaced and I'm going to be pissed of if I have to do it again. Help anybody? Thanks.  >:(

monoid:
There is problem in bootloader that it does not charge from USB if switched on with USB power. To charge from USB I switch it on, stop playing the music and plug USB power.

If totaly empty, I charge in OF. How to get there you'll find in manual. I did it only once or twice so I do not remember. Generaly, you need to hold ?volume? button while powered on via USB.

Vkins:
Yeah, hold volume down while pushing the power button. That will boot the OF.

I always charge using OF since currently, Rockbox on Fuze+ has no battery level indicator when plugged in using USB.
