installation "successful," but not working

Okay, so I’m frothing-at-the-mouth stoked about trying Rockbox on my Sansa Clip+, and I’ve provided the clppa.bin file during installation, and I arrive at the attached pic of promising screen and click OK.  Then I try to eject but can’t so I use my computer’s ejector, successfully.  Unplug and I gather something is supposed to happen at this point…that doesn’t.  All I see are the standard clip+ controls.  According to install instructions I am to "wait for the firmware update to finish. Don’t try to power off the device, it will shutdown by itself after a minute. "  Mine does not shutdown and a min., after many, many minutes.  On manual shutdown and restart, same old Sansa.  Any idea what I’m missing anybody?

Check that you selected the correct drive to install to.

mickeymag:
Many thanks; solved THAT problem.  Now I have attached message and log below.

saratoga:
I don't know about that error specifically, but that log you've posted says you selected C:\ even though your Clip is mounted at G:\.

mickeymag:
Yes, I noticed that too, but haven't a clue how to resolve that.  I did browse to the player drive.  Iy!
