Loudness with Sansa clip + ?

Hi,
Can you explain me why there is "loudness" setting on device like this one:

but not on the sansa clip + ? :

When i use it in my car, i would like to use loudness when i listen to music at quiet volume.

The Archos's audio output hardware has that feature built in, so we provide a setting to enable/disable it. The Clip+ doesn't have this, so we don't.

You can use Rockbox's software equaliser instead to increase the low/high end frequencies until you're happy with how it sounds.

So, if i want to do a loudness like, i could add a shorcut to enable EQ only when i listen to music at lower volume to increase bass frequency only, and disable it when i increase the volume, is it the good way ? No way to doing that automaticly ?
