Song capacity

Hi, I have a huge music library, and was just curious about how many songs/files rockbox can hold. I have an 6th generation iPod Video and my music library is at least 11,000 songs.

There is no limit beyond what your storage device can hold.

Awesome , cause I read on the website there was like a 4000 song limit, but now I know that I'll be able to put all my music on! Thanks for the response :)

The Rockbox website doesn't state such a limit. Where did you find this information?

the limit is a strange one...
it is file name text size per folder limit.
example: if you have 11,000 songs and put them all in the same folder but rockbox only sees 10,000 (make sure your wps shows songs in folder) , you then have to rename your mp3 files to be shorter and then more songs will be available for you to listen to. hope this helps many people out there
