FUZE + Do not start anymore ._.
(1/1)
ildarion:
Hey !
Yesterday i have plug my fuze + on my PC for reload the battery but i forget to turn off when à turn off my PC.
So this morning i can't start it anymore (just stay off !)
I try to:
- uninstall rockbox = No effect
- format = no effect
- format, install OF = no effect
So i think is a battery issu (0%) but since the last(?) rockbox update, Fuze + have somes issus for reload: reload work only when rockbox is ON , then plug in USB (don't work when rockbox is OFF, then plug in usb)
Actually, when my fuze is plug, this text is display :
--- Quote ---Boot version: 1.0
arg=CAFEBABE addr=40000000
USB: Connecting
Bootloader USB mode
--- End quote ---
What I can do now ?
Thanx.
Vkins:
That is the normal display when it is plugged in via USB.
Also, I'm not exactly sure what exactly the problem is, but I assume it is just an empty battery. Charge it for a few hours and see what happens.
ildarion:
In fact, in USB mode, the battery can't(and doesn't) charge. This is a problem I have since a few months (but recent) following updates from Rockbox (I think this has been reported ?)
Anyway, I need to charge my battery but I can't. How is it that despite the removal of Rockbox and formatting, the usb mode boot screen mentioned in my first post is still there?
EDIT: Same issu here : http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php/topic,26284.msg202622.html#msg202622
EDIT 2: Ok, I have put off my computer and my fanze+ can be charged! Now, I have see it's possible to update the boot loader for fix this issu, but i don't know how. (I have already make the proceed in the wiki "alternate boot..." but no change)
halonachos117:
Did you boot the OF? You can do so by holding the volume down button while starting up. When you do so, the OF should update itself from the bootloader file you got off the wiki. Then, shutdown, and reboot into Rockbox like normal. You should be able to charge in the future without powering on.
NOTE: when you charge from the bootloader, you'll notice an indicator telling you how charged the battery is. You cannot trust this indicator, as the bootloader was updated before some power calibrations were made. Your battery will still charge fine, you just won't know how charged it is until you disconnect the player and let it boot.

Why did I forget to do that?... ::)
Now is fine, thank you for the support !
