How to: iPodLinux Sansa Fuze V2?
« on: June 02, 2013, 11:24:48 PM »
I was wondering if anyone knew how to install iPodLinux onto a Sansa Fuze V2?

1) iPodLinux has absolutely nothing to do with Sansa devices,

2) iPodLinux is, for all intents and purposes, a dead project,

3) Rockbox has nothing to do with iPodLinux.

Download the source code, replace all the iPod bits with fuze drivers that you write using our source code as a guide, then I guess register a website for your new open source project.

I know how to install ipodlinux, but ipodlinux was never made for the fuze, so you'd have to code it yourself as Saratoga had said. What Lamba had said was correct, except with the part about not having to do with Sansa's. There is a build of ipodlinux called 'Sansalinux' ( and also Zeroslackr ) that was made for the Sansa e200 series, so maybe if you could compare between the original build of ipodlinux and Sansalinux/Zeroslackr this could help too. I was actually looking into revive this a few years back..but never got about to doing anything unfortunately..and now I just work without too much time for myself I guess xD
