Monolithic FLAC files with embedded CUE sheets

I've recently lost support for monolithic FLAC files on my Sansa e200 v1. I think that happened when I performed a settings reset. I've just download the latest version (3.13). I do not get a list of tracks contained in the file and am not able to navigate within the file (except for fast-forward/-reverse; ie I'm not able to skip to next/prev track). The file is displayed and played as if it were a (large) track.

Does CUE sheet support need to be enabled via settings?

My specifics:
Sansa e200 V1
generate FLAC file using EAC with integrated FLAC encoder
embed CUE sheet using both the --cuesheet and --tag flags
resulting file is recognized by Foobar 2K as expected
