Fuze+ error: will not patch OS with firmware sb

strawman:
This is a new unit that I ran with the provided OS. I have the latest OS version. Removed the external storage (32gb).  I set interface to MSC. Attached to desktop PC running Win XP SP3.  downloaded the firmware sb. It appeared to load the firmware, but finally got the error message:will not patch.
A search of this term: Patch, or firmware patch fail, did not offer this exact problem , so I start this as a new topic. Any help for this?  Thanks

Post the full log from rockbox utility.  It likely explains what the error was.

thank you. I could not find in the manual how to see and post the log. Could you tell me how?

I believe its under help or similar menu in Rockbox utility.
