Considerations about connecting Clip+ as mass storage device
« on: May 16, 2013, 01:29:44 AM »
Hi, I'm relatively new to RockBox and recently was one of those who had troubles using SanDisk Clip+ as mass storage device when connecting to Windows 7. The player hanged most of the time and drives was not appearing in the windows. It almost always was that I connected the player with the wire to the notebook. Recently I did this other way, the wire was already connected to the notebook and I inserted the wire into the player, and this way it worked several times flawlessly.

Common sense tells me that it should not matter the way I connect the device, but maybe there are some minor things like timing or something that can affect the way the connection works. Maybe anyone also had similar experience?
