Music on the left playing on the right and viceversa

I'm using a rockboxed iPod Classic 160GB. I was listening to music and something just didn't seem right. Then I got it. The music that normally comes from the left ear bud is now playing on the right side and vice-versa.

Here's an example: Before installing Rockbox one of the songs that I regularly listen to has a violin playing distinctly from the left ear bud. Since installing Rockbox that violin now plays from the right ear bud. And no I'm not putting the left ear bud in the right ear and vice-versa. I have Shure SE535s so its not possible to mix them up. If I play that same song on my PC with my Shure SE535s it plays correctly.

Any idea how I can fix this problem?

As far as I know this was fixed 18 months ago.  Are you running a really old build?

Hi saratoga....I'm pretty new to all this so bare with me.

From what I see on my iPod Classic 160GB screen, emCORE is v. 0.2.3 r.859 and as Rockbox loads I see v.31515-120101

If these are old versions, can you please point me to the most recent ones.

I've been searching and searching and I cannot find the links you are talking about. I tried the auto install program and it cannot detect my iPod Classic.

Thanks to the members that replied to my post. I installed the updated version of RB on my iPod Classic 160GB and the left/right audio issue is gone.
