A "buzzing" noise and an audioscrobbler problem - Sansa Clip+

Hi,

I recently installed Rockbox on my Sansa Clip+ and I have a couple of problems.

1) There's a "buzzing" noise heard on one of my headphones (I use Sennheiser in-ears). I hear it when I listen to more quiet songs. It disappears when I turn the volume down, but then the music's too quiet.

2) Audioscrobbling won't work. Rockbox generates scrobbler.logs, but Rock Scrobbler won't scrobble because "Timestamp failed filter, too far in past". I tried to listen to just one song, then immediately plug the player in the computer, but the same error appears again.

Help?

Thanks in advance.

2)  Sounds like the date is set wrong?

usputni_boem:
You're right. I set the date right and now it's working. Thanks!

I have another question:

3) A 10 second recording I made using Rockbox is 1,82 MB large. A 10 second recording I made using the original firmware is only 400 KB. I realize there's probably a difference in quality of the recording, but I was pleased with the original quality, and I don't have enough space for such large recordings. Can I make a 10 second recording using Rockbox which takes only 400 KB?

saratoga:
You can probably make them smaller than that if you use compression ...

AlexP:
Set the recording to a lower quality, or sample rate etc.
