Put dock cable in without player turning on?

Hi!
Ipod video/gen 5, Rockbox 3.2.
When I put in a docking cable the player turns on. Can I change the behaviour so it doesnt turn on automatically?

There are two main cases
1) When I put the charger cable in at work. Of course, if player must be on to charge, then I dont have any choice
2) I have a small amplifier connected with a dock cable, sometimes I don't want the player to go on just because I put the cable in...

What are the options to control the behaviours?

(I have done some search and checked manual but not found anything related to this..)

No, there are no options to control this behaviour. It does have to be on to charge.

I think it's technically possible to disable this in the hardware, but we haven't implemented it. If you mess up the wakeup configuration in the power management unit then you can end up with a player that won't turn on *at all* unless you take it apart and disconnect the battery to reset the PMU.
