Sansa Clip+ hangup in database
« on: May 04, 2013, 12:39:06 PM »
Hello
I use Rockbox 3.11.2 on a Sansa Clip+ with a 16Gb sdcard.
When I start my player it always does a "committing database" 1-9. It normally takes a few seconds. But today the player stops at committing database 5/9. I waited for hours but it does not progress. I did not add new files since the last shutdown.
- I tried removing the sdcard, but even without the sdcard it stops at 5/9.
- I tired uninstalling Rockbox but the PC does not recognize the player. (I'm away from home and using a different PC than before.)
- I tired rebooting in the original firmware; it starts with the sansa logo, but then says it has not enough Mb to generate a music database. (Probably true.)
Has anybody any advice how I should proceed?
Thank you

Corrupt file system probably. Check the disk for errors in windows.
