Fade out on Next
« on: April 28, 2013, 12:30:09 AM »
Rockbox already has a very nice feature of fade out on Pause and fade in on Resume. But when you hit Next button, sound ends abruptly, which is somewhat unpleasant. Is it possible to add fade out on this button as well? It should be controlled by the same menu setting. Thanks!

My guess is there is not likely to be much interest in including this in official builds.

I agree, but, perhaps for different reasons than you do.

I agree that there would be very little interest in adding this, but only as it already exists in the form of cross-fade.

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.

Ah yes I forgot that cross fade could be set to only happen on manual track changes.

Nice, thanks for this Idea.
Now I delay the next track instead of fading it in.
Here are my Settings:
Code: [Select]
Enable Crossfade: Manual Track Skip Only
Fade-Out Delay: 0
Fade-Out Duration: 1
Fade-In Delay: 1
Fade-In Duration: 0
