I have no idea what you are saying.  Try explaining your problem again in clear language.

I think you are trying to say, that the tracks of a selected album are not being played but skipped skipped until reaching the end of the dynamic playlist, right?

There might be a problem with your files (e.g. file format...)

What files are you trying to play?

I'm guessing that the CD was ripped using Windows Media Player which IIRC adds DRM to the .wma files by default.

OK so its an mp3 file. If you browse to that file on the player from your PC, does it play?

Thats a folder on your computer, not the name of the file on your MP3 player.  Find the file on your MP3 player and copy the entire file name including the extension.

i have it set to
show file name extensions
i go to the music folder select a band "stone sour" for example
it just comes up like it should with the song title.mp3
properties will not open as well as many other things /games/applications/demos
should i just star over and unistall everything? if so what would be the best way to reinstall everything
this is what is on  there at the moment emCORE vo.2.3 r859   rockbox r31516-120101
thank you :)

rockbox r31516-120101

Thats a build from January 1, 2012.  Update your build to something from this year.  Maybe that will fix it, I'm not sure.
