Sansa Fuze V2 lost USB connectivity

I've been using my rockboxed sansa fuze v2 problem free for a couple of months, all of a sudden after I ejected it from my macbook it got stuck at the usb connection screen.  Now everytime I plug it in, it gets stuck at the screen and I don't get any access to the USB drives.  It requires a reboot of the player to get it off the USB connection screen.  I'm bummed.   Anyone have any ideas to fix?

Boot into the Sandisk firmware, connect to the Mac and perform a filesystem check. You can also try to updating your Rockbox installation.

The disks don't mount when I plug it in.  They do show up in disk utility, but show unformatted and I can't perform any actions on them.

The fuze still works perfectly fine, just has no usb connectivity so I'm not sure how it could be updated ...

Got it, thanks for the help.

Booted the sansa firmware, plugged it in and everything acted the way it was supposed to.  Unplugged it and booted back into RB and it's all good.

ugh. scratch that.  It's still messed up.  I removed RB and reinstalled it but it does the same thing.  If I boot the sansa firmware everything works good.  definitely not as cool, and it takes about 15 minutes to "update media" with my 64 Gb card.
