Memorex 400X 64GB CF not working (ihp-120)

Hi. First post.

I have modified three iriver ihp-120s so far. New, better battery, IDE->SD adapter and big SD card. I'm on my fourth, and Rockbox will not get past the boot loader. I have swapped out the SD adapter and SD card from working players and have isolated the problem -- the CF card.

Is there some sort of upper speed limit? (All my previous cards are 266x speed.) Did I get a bad card?
