Not bricked, but frozen

I installed Rockbox on my ClipZip. It ran for a bit, then one day it simply froze. It shows the Rockbox logo and some random numbers below. And my comp sees it as a drive in the device manager, but it isn't assigned a drive letter. Diving deeper into the disk management utility doesn't help, nor reinstalling drivers. I think it's just toast. Any thoughts?

Have you tired resetting it by holding the power button for 30 seconds?

Yeah, that's the first thing I did. If there is a fix, it'll take some technical expertise.  :-\
