iRiver h10 doesn't display wma files in data base

Sorry, I found that the wma's won't play on my e280, even wma's made by ripping cd's :-[

boomer59:
I finally got a format other than mp3 to play on rockbox.  m4b format will play if you select them using the file tree, but they won't appear in the database.  (Both on my sansa e280 and iriver h10)  I'm starting to think rockbox is like a model T ford.  You can use any audio format, as long as its mp3 ;D

People can have the Model T in any colour--so long as it's black.

saratoga:
Pretty much all unencrypted formats work in rockbox, but if you try to play something encrypted you will find that it doesn't work as that is illegal in much of the developed world.

AlexP:
wma works just fine (as well as many many more formats that anything else supports).  I suspect you are a) using wmp to rip and b) haven't turned off the option telling wmp to protect (drm) the files.
