My sansa fuze will not turn on (Tried everything)
(1/1)
Reece:
My sansa fuze v2 with rockbox 3.13 will not turn on.
So I had it in my computer, and I was loading some things on it.
I unplugged it and got a white screen with an error like I get some times.
I went to hold the switch to reset it but all the sudden the screen went black.
I tried holding the switch for 30 seconds but it didn't work.
I plugged it into my computer and my pc doesn't detect it.
I even put it into a wall charger and nothing happened.
Please help me.

UPDATE: I also tried listening for that "cracking" noise from the headphones.
I was told that if I heard a popping or clicking from a pare of headphones plunged into the device I just had to wait a few days for the battery to run down and then I could charge it and use it again.
But I can't hear any noise coming from my earphones. I even put it on an amplified pare of headphones and heard nothing. I think my device is officially dead. *super sad face*

Well even though no one helped me, my mp3 player eventualy did run out of power and restart itself. I guess my device doesn't make that popping noise.

Funny, I just had a similar situation a few days ago. However, I ended up discovering the poping noise myself. Eventually my battery died, and when I plugged it in, it came back to life, much like yours.

The popping noise is there. It's just very, very soft. To hear it, I had to plug/unplug my earbuds while wearing them and listening carefully. Funny, my fuze took like 4 or 5 days to run all the way down to zero and finally reset - it made me nervous, but luckily it hasn't happened again. I'm hoping they come up with a solve for this in future releases because being without it for several days really sucked.
