How to hide a track in database?
« on: March 24, 2013, 08:31:59 AM »
Ok so If I have podcasts and audibooks I don't want them to display in the database - they interrupt in playback when i do "play all tracks". How to do that? I acces the audiobooks only through files directory.

Look for "database.ignore" in the manual.

Since 3.12 there is a new feature: Ability to select folders for the database to scan instead of the whole file system, in the database settings.

But I don't think it lets you exclude single tracks in a folder where the other tracks should be added to the database.

So put your audiobooks and podcasts in dedicated folders and select only your "music" (or whatever you call it) folder to be scanned.

As a note, this is just a nicer way of achieving the save thing as database.ignore, which has existed for ages.
