Rearrange menu

(1/1)

UberElefanten:
Hi everyone :)
I'm new on the forum and new to Rockbox. I bought a Sansa Clip+ a couple of weeks ago and Roclboxed it right away. I had to get a new one since my Cowon D2 didnt like to get wet. I realy like to use this player since it simple and starts up in a blink. And I love to use the hardware buttons instead of having to deal with the touchscreen on th D2. The only thing I would like to change is how the menu is arranged and was hoping someone could help me with this. When I turn on the player the menu is arranged like this:
Recent Bookmarks, Files, Database, Resume Playback, Settings, Recording, FM Radio, Playlist Catalogue, Plugins, System and Shortcuts.
It would be better if it could be like this:
Resume Playback, Recent Bookmarks, Files, Settings,  System, Database, Playlist Catalogue, Plugins, Recording, FM Radio and Shortcuts.

Is this possible?

Thanks :)

Thanks gevaerts
In the manual it says that resuming the playback and changing the settings will be added automatically. Will they end up on top of the menu or after the other options I add in the file? I would like to have the resume playback to be on the top

gevaerts:
I haven't used this feature myself, so I'm not sure, but:

* as far as I know "Resume playback" and "Now Playing" are the same menu item with different titles, which will both be covered by the "wps" entry.
* The way I read the manual, "settings" will be added at the end if you don't add it to the list yourself. Otherwise it will be wherever you specify.

Thanks for your help :)
I made a .cfg file containing this: root menu order:wps,files,bookmarks,settings,plugins,database,system_menu
So now my main menu is like this: resume playback/now playing, files, bookmarks, settings, plugins, database and system. Just the way I want :) I dont think I will ever use playlists, shortcuts, radio and recording so I didnt include them. Probably wont use database neither but I included it anyway.....

Thanks :)
